# Enrich a company list with founded year, HQ, CEO and size

Upload a sheet of company names and websites, ask your question in plain words, and get the answers back as new columns: founded year, headquarters, CEO and employee count.

## What this task is for

Web search is switched on for this task, so the model looks each company up rather than answering from memory, and the question names the four facts it has to return. Asking for specific fields is what keeps the column names identical on every row instead of drifting between answers.

The result is your own file back as Excel, which is the format a CRM import or a prospect list actually needs. Change the question and the same task enriches a list with whatever else is public: funding stage, tech stack, office locations.

## The input this task runs with

```json
{
  "spreadsheet_file": "https://api.apify.com/v2/key-value-stores/I40EWpLzQaVq08gCm/records/companies-sample.csv",
  "prompts": [
    "For the company {{Company}} ({{Website}}), find the year it was founded, its headquarters city, its current CEO and its approximate number of employees."
  ],
  "model": "google/gemini-2.5-flash",
  "enable_web_search": true
}
```

## What every run returns

- `Prompt`
- `Model used`
- `Response text`
- `Structured JSON columns`
- `Web search sources`
- `Source row (Excel/CSV/Sheet)`
- `Status`
- `Timestamp`
