Our goal is to deliver automation that works for you. This policy outlines our approach to refunds, designed to be fair and clear.
1. Our Service Model
We primarily offer project-based and retainer services. Because this work involves intensive labor and discovery, our refund policy is based on project milestones and effort expended.
2. Project-Based Work
- Initial Deposits: A deposit is often required to start a project. This covers the initial discovery, strategy, and setup phase and is typically non-refundable as it compensates for the foundational work we perform.
- Milestone Payments: For larger projects, we structure payments around clear milestones. Once a milestone is completed and approved by you, the payment for that milestone is non-refundable.
- Project Cancellation: If you choose to cancel a project mid-way, you will only be billed for the work completed up to the cancellation date. Any payments for unstarted work will be refunded.
3. When Refunds Are Issued
We are committed to client satisfaction and will issue a full or partial refund in the following situations:
- Failure to Deliver: If we fail to deliver the services agreed upon in your project scope and cannot rectify the issue in a reasonable time.
- Service Malfunction: If a delivered automation has a critical, reproducible error that we are unable to fix.
- Accidental Billing: If you are accidentally billed twice for the same service.
4. Situations Where Refunds Are Not Issued
We cannot issue refunds in situations outside of our control, including:
- Change of Mind: For work that has already been completed.
- Third-Party Changes: If a target website or API that we automate changes its structure, blocking or breaking the automation. In these cases, we will work with you on a plan to update the automation, which may require a separate service agreement.
- Client Delays: If a project is stalled due to a lack of feedback or necessary input from your side.
