This site is run by Youssef Farhan ("I"). This page explains what data the site collects, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. Questions: contact@automationbyexperts.com.
What I collect
- Forms you submit. The contact, booking, "suggest a scraper" and newsletter forms store what you type: your name, email address, and the message, website URL or project details you provide.
- Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. Google sets cookies and processes your IP address and browser details to do this. See how Google uses this data.
- Server logs. Like any web server, requests are logged with IP address, URL and user agent, for security and debugging.
I do not ask for payment details, and I do not collect data about you from other sources.
Why
- To reply to your message or project request, and to follow up on it.
- To send the newsletter, if you subscribed. Every email lets you unsubscribe, or just reply and ask.
- To understand which content is useful and to keep the site secure.
Where it goes
Form submissions are stored in a database on a server I control, and a copy of each submission is sent to me as a Telegram notification so I can reply quickly. Analytics data is processed by Google. I do not sell or rent your data, and I do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Affiliate links
Links to Apify and to some tools on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination site may set its own cookies to credit the referral. That is governed by their privacy policy, not this one.
How long I keep it
Messages and project requests are kept while they are useful for the conversation or project, and newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe. Ask and I will delete your data sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data I hold about you, or object to its use, by emailing contact@automationbyexperts.com. You can block analytics cookies in your browser or with Google's opt-out add-on without losing access to anything on the site.
