What this workflow does
This n8n workflow searches for podcasts that book guests every Monday at 7:00, keeps the shows that are still publishing and have a contact email, has OpenAI score each against your talking points, and saves every show to Google Sheets. For the best fits it writes a pitch email and leaves it as a Gmail draft. It runs on Podcast Guest Finder - Shows & Host Emails ($0.004 per podcast lead delivered) and the template itself is free.
๐ How it works
Finding a show worth pitching usually means opening dozens of podcast pages. This workflow does the search for you: it looks for shows in your niches that are still publishing, signal an interview format and list a contact email, and it remembers the shows it has already sent you.
OpenAI scores each show against the talking points and proof points you wrote, names the overlap in a phrase and proposes the episode you could deliver. A check in n8n keeps the score honest: a show only scores above 70 when your subject appears in its own title.
Every scored show goes to Google Sheets, rejections included. Shows above minFit get a pitch email, capped by maxPitches, which arrives in Telegram and as a Gmail draft addressed to the host. Nothing is ever sent automatically.

โ๏ธ The settings you edit
Every value you change lives in one node, Set your pitch. These are the defaults the template ships with.
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
niches | B2B SaaS, bootstrapped founders, product-led growth | The topics to search for, separated by commas. |
country | US | The country whose podcast directory is searched. |
activeWithinDays | 90 | Only shows with an episode this recent are kept. |
maxShows | 25 | Shows fetched per run, which is also what caps the Apify cost of a run. |
guestName | YOUR NAME | The name signed on the pitch. |
guestTitle | Founder of a pricing consultancy for B2B SaaS | One line on who you are, used in the pitch. |
yourExpertise | How small SaaS companies set and change prices: packaging, seat versus usage pricing, running a price increase without losing the base, and what breaks when a self-serve product starts selling to bigger companies. | What you know well, in your own words. |
talkingPoints | Why seat-based pricing stops working above a certain deal size; how to run a price increase on existing customers without churn; the three packaging mistakes that cap self-serve revenue; what changes in a pricing page when you start selling to procurement | The subjects you could talk about. The score is measured against these. |
proofPoints | Eleven years in B2B SaaS pricing. Ran pricing changes for 40 companies between 2019 and 2026. Wrote the pricing chapter in a book published in 2024. Former head of growth at a company that grew from 2 million to 9 million in annual recurring revenue. | Facts that show you have earned the right to talk about them. |
audienceValue | Founders and operators of software companies between roughly 20,000 and 1 million dollars a month in revenue who have never deliberately changed their prices. | Who in a show's audience gains from hearing you. |
minFit | 60 | Shows scoring below this get no pitch. |
maxPitches | 5 | Most pitch emails one run writes. |
googleSheetUrl | PASTE_YOUR_GOOGLE_SHEET_URL_HERE | The URL of the Google Sheet that holds the shows tab. |
showsTab | Shows | The sheet tab every scored show is appended to. |
telegramChatId | PASTE_YOUR_TELEGRAM_CHAT_ID_HERE | The Telegram chat each pitch is sent to. |
๐ What lands in your Google Sheet
One row per new show, with these 16 columns. The header row is written on the first run, so start with an empty sheet.

โ Questions about this workflow
How do I find podcasts that accept guests?
Import this workflow into n8n and put your niches in the Set your pitch node. Every Monday it searches for shows that are still publishing, signal an interview format and list a contact email.
Does it send the emails for me?
No. The pitch is saved as a Gmail draft addressed to the host and sent to you in Telegram. You read it and press send yourself.
How is a show scored?
OpenAI compares the show with your talking points and proof points. n8n then checks the result: a show only scores above 70 when your subject appears in its own title.
Can I skip Gmail?
Yes. Delete the Gmail node and the pitch still reaches you in Telegram.
What does it cost to run?
The workflow is free. Each run bills the Podcast Guest Finder actor on your Apify account per lead, plus a few OpenAI calls on your own OpenAI account.
๐งช Run it once without n8n
To see the data before building a schedule around it, open one of these ready-made Podcast Guest Finder - Shows & Host Emails tasks on Apify.
